I was also worried the salt would make my dry skin even drier but it had the opposite effect.

Little aches in my neck and back were better. Letting your mind just relax and meditate was a little tough for the first float but worth it. That seemed to work out for me and I was fine. You are provided with plenty of towels and even slippers so your shoes don’t accidentally get wet.One of the tips I received from was to close the pod to keep the heat in but I could prop the door open with a rolled up towel so I wouldn’t feel too claustrophobic. Each pod is in it’s own separate room with a shower so there is complete privacy too.

I’m so glad I did!First, the spa is clean and has has a relaxing atmosphere with a great lounge to relax in. However there was a special 2 for 1 so I tried it with a friend. I was very hesitant to try the float spa because I’m a little bit claustrophobic. Also, if you have a lot of neck strain there is a foam float you can use under your head and neck so you can float a little more comfortably.I would highly recommend True Rest Float Spa!Parking in the area is a little tough if you come at lunch time but hopefully that will be better once all the construction is finished arou My second float was even better! Once I knew what to expect, my mind was able to relax a lot faster and I even fell asleep for awhile. My skin was smoother and my hair even felt silkier after I floated.

Overall, I can recommend it but would do so cautiously as there can be some people that may have problems with it. I did sleep pretty well the night after the float. I wasn't tired after the float as I think I fell asleep while in the tank for maybe 30 minutes. I did notice that my skin was a bit dry over the next 2 days and I had a sensation of "saltiness" on my skin for the next day. I got out at the end, showered and dried off (had to bring my own towel as their dryer was down, but not a biggie). I did achieve flotation and historically I have all the float capability of a rock. They only play music at the beginning and the end, the rest of the time is pure quiet. I still need to try and figure out a way to cut off the light interior of the tank and I wish that I could have control over the music. You take a shower before you go in the tank and the encouragement is to go in nude, but that's left up to you. Though to be honest upfront, I've only gone once, but do have intentions to go again. Okay, so gonna write a long review of this, to help out anyone interested and on their first time. Emerge rested and refreshed with a heightened sense of well being that remains long after the float.
